Whether or not you are Irish, celebrate our day by seeing Martin McDonagh's first feature-length film In Bruges (pronounced "in broozh;" now go impress your friends with how internationally cool you are).
McDonagh is famous for his scathingly brilliant and funny plays, including The Lieutenant of Inishmore and The Pillowman. He won a much deserved Academy Award for his first short film, Six Shooter. And In Bruges is every bit as wonderful.
If you love wit and a great story, treat yourself to In Bruges.
