12 Nights in June

In separate stories with related themes, three women embody the difficulty of adult transition in American culture.

Daughters of Catastrophe features women whose desires are diverted, but not satisfied, by affluence. Despite material advantages, these women still grapple with mythologies of marriage, motherhood, and family.

Daughters of Catastrophe was first commissioned and had a staged reading at City3Theater's Summer Six Pack directed by J. Daniel Stanley, and a staged reading at the Quiet Storm in Pittsburgh directed by Tonia Steed.
